  • 1 Butternut Pumpkin
  • Water

  1. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise, through the stem.
  2. Remove Seeds and stringy bits using a spoon
  3. Place skin side up on a baking tray
  4. Bake for 45 mins or until soft and tender
  5. Scoop out the soft flesh
  6. Puree until smooth
  1. Prep: Wash butternut pumpkin and cut off the hard ends leaving the rest of the skin on.
    • Slice pumpkin lengthways into halves. Scoop out pumpkin seeds with a spoon.
    • Cut both pumpkin halves lengthways into halves again and then slice each pumpkin quarter into large pieces.
  2. Cook: Add water into mixing bowl and place Mixing Bowl Lid and Veroma Dish into position. Add pumpkin pieces into Veroma Dish and close it with Veroma Lid.
    • Cook 25 minutes / Veroma / speed 2.
    • Take off Veroma Dish and place it on the Veroma Lid.
  3. Puree: Pour water out of mixing bowl. Add cooked pumpkin pieces into mixing bowl. Blend 20 sec / speed 5.
    • Scrape down sides of mixing bowl and blend 60 sec / speed 10.
  4. Feed to baby once cooled down.
  1. Prep: Cut up pumpkin into small pieces, small enough to fit into the steamer basket.
  2. Steam: Cook the pumpkin for 25 minutes on the steaming mode. After this time the pumpkin should be soft and luscious. Add more time if needed.
  3. Transfer: Tip a small amount of water out but leave enough to blend with. Place the pumpkin into the larger bowl and place back into the appliance.
  4. Blend: Puree for 15-20 seconds.
